CSA is a non-profit membership body serving industry, government, consumers and others and offering a national program on standards for sustainable forest management in Canada.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Canada Certification

FSC is an international certification and labelling system that certifies forest products as coming from responsibly managed forests and verified recycled sources. Under FSC certification, forests are certified against a set of environmental and social standards, and fibre from certified forests is tracked to the buyer through a chain of custody certification system.

SFI Inc. is a non-profit organization responsible for maintaining, overseeing and improving a sustainable forestry certification program in North America. The SFI 2010-2014 Standard is based on principles and measures that promote sustainable forest management. This standard is developed and maintained by the forestry industry.
