The Many Faces of Sustainability: Conference Highlights

February 19-20, 2009 at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre

These days, economic turmoil seems to dominate the headlines. The great sustainability issues of our time - such as climate change - seem to have faded into the background. Or have they?


Learn from some of North America's most respected leaders, who will offer their perspectives and share the lessons they've learned:

Dr. Frances Westley will show how change - including great social change - may come from the least likely places.

Andre LaRiviere will reveal how he turned cutting-edge sustainability practices into a profitable business that meets the need of today's most discerning restauranteurs.

Al Etmanski is known for his expertise in fostering social enterprise within the civic sector, converting social capital to economic capital and developing innovative partnerships among public, private, and citizen sectors.

And Headlines Theatre Director David Diamond leads an engaging and interactive exercise of self-discovery to gain fresh insight on how each of us can change course and find a new way forward.
